Questions we get most
Is at-home microneedling safe?
For most people, yes, when you keep three rules: 0.25mm or shallower, disinfect the tool every session, and roll every 3-4 days rather than daily. The problems people read about online almost always come from reused needles or too much pressure. Our safety guide covers the details.
How often should I use a microneedle roller?
Every 3 to 4 days to start at 0.25mm, moving to daily once your skin adapts without redness or flaking. See the full frequency table.
Should I use a roller or a dermapen?
Start with a roller if you are new to it - it is faster, cheaper and lower risk. Move to a needle pen or micro-infusion kit once you have been consistent for a couple of months. The comparison breaks down the trade-offs.
Can I use niacinamide and retinol together?
Yes, with the right order. Niacinamide goes on damp skin first, then your retinoid a few minutes later. Our layering guide has the full schedule.
